What is PPSCNY?
The Professional Photographers Society of Central New York has a mission is to unite professional photographers across Central New York. Members travel from as far as Watertown, Cortland, and Utica to attend our Syracuse-based meetings.
We offer monthly programming that covers current trends, the latest technologies, and a variety of photographic techniques. Our members include wedding, studio portrait, landscape, and fine art photographers.
Through presentations by experienced professionals and collaborative learning, we continue to grow and strengthen our community.
When are the meetings?
We meet on the 2nd Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at various venues around CNY.
Meetings occasionally take place at members’ studios or on-location outdoors. Check our upcoming events or contact us for information on the next meeting.
Each meeting includes a networking/social hour, tips & tricks, image critique, and a special guest presentation sharing their expertise.
Who should join?
Anyone looking to make meaningful connections and to learn and share about photography.
Can I Try It Out?
Yes! You can attend up to two consecutive meetings as our guest free of charge.
Attending a meeting also gives you temporary access to our private Facebook group for 2 months. The group includes meeting resources and a place to share and receive advice on your work and business.
How Much Is Membership?
